Hiya and welcome! I'm a Geospatial Data Specialist, and I've developed this webpage to introduce myself and show
off some of my work. My academic and professional career have been built around 3 questions:
My professional interests span four key areas: Maps, Data, Transportation, and Climate. Each of these has played a pivotal role in addressing my core questions. From my early fascination with maps and weather segments on the news to majoring in Meteorology during college, my journey has been marked by an insatiable curiosity about the world. Growing up in exurban Florida, the challenges of transportation accessibility fueled my interest in urban environments, leading me to pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees in Geography. This decision opened the door to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and various internships, laying the foundation for a decade-long career in GIS analysis and urban planning.
Beyond work, long walks around my home in New York City and exploratory trips to other cities, blends my interests in maps, urban design, languages, and cultural explorations.
Please browse through my portfolio of maps and code! Note that the displayed applications are accompanied by links to my code repositories on my github.
Below, I've listed a few of my major areas of professional interest - topics about which I'm most knowledgeable and with which I enjoy working the most. Click each one to get some back story on them and see some projects I've worked related to each topic.
Tell me who you are and how to respond to you. Then let me know what I could do for you and what kind of problems we could collaborate on.
