What I've Done.

With 3 degrees and over 10 years of work in various jobs and internships, I've cultivated a diverse skill set and an understanding of its intersection with multiple industries. In making decisions regarding my personal and professional life, I ask myself 2 things:

  1. Will I learn new things?
  2. Will I feel useful?

I’ve aggregated my past professional and academic work below in an interactive resume and highlighted ways in which each has added to my professional development and brought me personal satisfaction.

While this page focuses on my technical background and expertise, I'd like to note the soft skills I have developed in my career as well. I enjoy and welcome teamwork, but my strong initiative and attention to detail often lends itself more to independent work. I’ve developed strong technical writing skills to both convey results of analyses and document the process I used. Lastly, my sense of time-management has proven to be my area of greatest improvement – learning when it’s time to put an idea aside, release a good but imperfect product, or seek assistance. I can be stubborn to a fault, and learning to ask for help or accept imperfection for the sake of time has been both difficult and rewarding.
